Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide popularity in the first decade of the 21st century. Swift began to develop an interest in music in her early years and swiftly progressed from participating in shows for children to making her debut in the front of a crowd. Swift was just 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game. Following that Swift began to write songs, and also picked up the guitar. Swift was inspired by artists from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and now the Chicks in order to write original music that reflected the loneliness she felt at the age of 13. Swift moved from Pennsylvania with her parents and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she turned 13 to devote her time in contacting country labels.
